Love Rural Conference
This national rural mission conference will…
- Share key learnings from disciple-makers in the countryside for twenty-first century mission strategy
- Enable you to connect with other rural practitioners and mission agencies to share wisdom and encouragement
- Inspire you to prayer and praise as we discover what God is doing in small settlements and areas of low population
Dates: 22 – 23 September 2025
Location: St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk IP33 1LS
Hosted by the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, we will share learnings from across England including the “Growing in God in the Countryside” project and other rural Strategic Development Funded (SDF) initiatives.
Key note speakers include the Bishop of Exeter, Mike Harrison and Rev Simon Mattholie of the inter-denominational mission agency “Rural Ministries”.
Golden threads for our learning are
- missional listening,
- cross-denominational, parish-based and fresh expressions ministry
- the significance of small groups for twenty first century mission
- young people and families
- the discoveries of rural resourcing churches.
Accommodation: Accommodation is not included in the conference cost and it is up to each person attending to organise their own. Two options near to the venue include a Premier Inn and The Angel Hotel.
