Chorister Open Evening

Do you have a child in Year 3 to 6 who loves to sing? Why not join our Chorister Open Evening at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Tuesday 5 May (starting at 3.45 pm) to find out more about singing at the Cathedral? Join in with fun singing games, try on a cassock, hear the mighty organ, and sing with the Choristers for a special service to round off the evening.

3.45 pm – arrival and registration

4.00 pm – 4.45 pm – singing games with the Choristers

4.45 pm – 5.00 pm – try on a cassock and get your photo taken!

5.00 – 5.15 pm – hear the mighty Cathedral organ and one last practice before our service

5.15 pm – 5.30 pm – break

5.30 pm – 6.00 pm – a special service to end the day, sung by our Choristers and our visitors

6.00 – 6.30 pm – collect your certificate and enjoy some well-earned cake! (also a chance for parents to chat with current chorister parents to find out more)

 

Please note, a parent or guardian must accompany visiting children at all times during the event.
