The ringers will be celebrating VE Day with two very special pieces of ringing:

On 8 May 1945 bells were rung in celebration of Victory in Europe Day, and on Thursday 8 May at 6.30 pm the bells will be rung for about an hour to celebrate this occasion and to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

In addition, there are many events taking place on the Bank Holiday, Monday 5 May, and there will be an attempt to ring a peal on the 12 bells that will take about 3 hours and 30 minutes on that day.
