Teach Rex Returns During February Half Term

On Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 February, St Edmundsbury Cathedral welcomes back Teach Rex and their animatronic dinosaur puppets. They will be teaching and entertaining audiences at four sessions – two per day – one at 10.30 am and the second from 2.00 pm.

The dinosaurs are from Teach Rex, who provide creative workshops that ignite young minds and imaginations and is run by two former-teachers.

The sessions begin by showing the children some baby dinosaurs to introduce the topic. From there, the main show is around 45 minutes long and includes being able to get up close with the dinosaurs. At the end of each show, there are photo opportunities with the dinosaurs. Tickets are on sale and are £8.00 each.

Kim Judge, Learning Manager at the Cathedral, said, “Teach Rex is always a lot of fun in the Cathedral! They have a perfect mix of entertainment and education that the audience really engages with and it’s a great chance to get up close to a t-rex!”

Teach Rex tickets can be booked here.
