Royal British Legion Centenary Service
On Sunday 19 September 2021 the Cathedral hosted Choral Evensong to celebrate the centenary of the Royal British Legion.
The Royal British Legion was established in the aftermath of World War I. Since its inception in 1921, the Legion has provided help, care and welfare for millions of returning servicemen and women and their families, dependents, widows and orphans, from so many of the world’s areas of conflict.
