Originally broadcast on St George’s Day, this  60 second snippet (part of a series released during the first lockdown) focuses on St Edmund. St Edmund was the first patron saint and there are many people, especially in Suffolk, who would like to see Edmund re-instated to that position.

The town had planned a big celebration in 2020 to mark the 1000th anniversary of the founding of the Abbey of St Edmund. We hope that this may still happen – just not at the moment. Find out about the importance of the Abbey here
