Flowers can be laid at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on the Garth. There are two books of condolence available in the Cathedral situated on the Nave pavement.

We will be open on Monday (10.00 am til 4.00 pm) for people to come in for reflection, to offer prayers, light a candle and to join in observing the two minutes silence at 11.55 am after the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey. The Dean will also share a prayer.

We will be streaming the coverage of the funeral service on the Cathedral aisle television screens for those who wish to be in the Cathedral at this time. All are welcome. You can view the Order of Service here.

 

The Cathedral Shop and Pilgrims’ Kitchen will both be closed on Monday 19 September to allow staff to join the nation in mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
