Pilgrims’ Kitchen and Shop re-open
We are pleased to announce that from 4 July, the Cathedral will be able to re-open to visitors.
Pilgrims’ Kitchen, the Cathedral’s restaurant and café, will be open seven days a week from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Pilgrims’ Kitchen serves teas/coffees, delicious cakes and scones and a range of home cooked light lunches. Pilgrims’ Kitchen has a beautiful garden and decking area and tables have been arranged to ensure that all customers can enjoy a safe and relaxed experience.
The Cathedral Shop will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. Access will be from Angel Hill with a one way system through the Shop, exiting by the door into the Cathedral. The Shop stocks unique gifts, CDs, local interest books, greetings cards and souvenirs.
The Cathedral itself will be open from Monday 6 July and thereafter from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. All visitors will be asked to follow a one way system around the site and to respect social distancing guidelines. Initially only the Nave of the Cathedral will be open.
