The Forum is a congregational meeting, a little like a church’s Parochial Church Council. With about thirty elected members and another 10 who are there by virtue of their office, it is a useful discussion group, a vehicle for information sharing, and a sounding board for the congregation. Most meetings have some set agenda items — e.g., the Christmas Fair and major projects — and a chance to look at an issue in more depth: children’s work, the Discovery Centre, liturgy.

A list of the current members of Forum can be seen here.

Ideas for subjects for discussion from the congregation are welcomed and should be sent to the Secretary of the Cathedral Forum, Louise Martin (by email).

Annual Parochial Church Meeting

The Cathedral’s APCM will take place on Wednesday 28 April at 6.30 pm. The pandemic lockdown is easing, but the timeline means the meeting will be virtual (by Zoom) again.

The agenda and paperwork for the APCM are below, including details of the Annual Report, the Minutes of last year’s APCM, APCM Elections, and the Electoral Roll revision. Registration is necessary to receive the Zoom meeting details so that we ensure Zoom security. To register please email the APCM Secretary (Louise Martin) at

The APCM will include elections for Forum. To avoid the risk of infection on paper, nominations (including proposer and seconder) can be submitted by email to the APCM Secretary, Louise Martin, at
