"Suffolk in the City" An Advent Festival

People with Suffolk connections who are based in London will join friends and supporters from across the county at “Suffolk in the City” an Advent Festival in London. Clare, Countess of Euston, HM Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk, and Bishop Mike Harrison will be attending.

Friends of the Cathedral are welcome to attend this special occasion at St Giles Church, Cripplegate, London, on Tuesday 4 December at 6.30pm followed by a reception at 7.30pm in the nearby City of London School for Girls overlooking the Barbican Lake. The evening will close by 9.30pm.

The Festival will showcase St Edmundsbury Cathedral choir, and readers will include Griff Rhys Jones. Noble House Events will provide wine and hot bowl food at the reception.

The event is being organised by the Foundation of St Edmund, an independent charity which supports the mission and ministry of St Edmundsbury Cathedral. Its purpose is to enable the Cathedral to thrive and flourish by extending its work in Suffolk and beyond.

The evening will cost £75 per person; a minimum donation of £30 to attend the service and a ticket price of £45 for the reception.
